Day 3 at the beach...

The third day at the beach went much better. He walked in the sand and then danced around in the water with us. He liked it so much, we had to hold him back from running into the water(which is pretty cold). He just cracked up when the waves ran over his feet, and danced in the water as it went back out. He did get a wave in the face and didn't like that, so we called it a day at that point.

Brevard Zoo

We left this morning to see the rocket launch at NASA, but since it got canceled, we headed to the local zoo. It was a really nice zoo, but it wasn't very big, which was fine since Caleb really needed a nap by the time we got through the animals. The highlights were gettting to pet and feed the giraffes, and the monkeys cleaning each other. The monkey that was being groomed also attempt to pee on us. - monkeys are so funny! The kangaroos were pretty cool too.
After a nice walk with dad, Caleb decided to crawl up in my chair with me and play. I got some kisses, and then he sat on my face. This was lots of fun for him!

Day 2 at the beach...

Okay, the sand is a little better than yesterday. Mostly he just played in it while sitting on the blanket, but he also did a little walking in it, and a little eating it. He still isn't interested in the water, but will get close if we are holding him.

Caleb likes going in and out to the balcony. The view from out there isn't so bad!

The Holy Land

We went to the Holy Land Experience in Orlando. It is an attraction with lots of fun Christian/Jewish history. Caleb found a group of little boys and inserted himself into the fun. They had a model of Jerusalem - pretty incredible.

Caleb's First Trip to the Ocean

Caleb's first trip to the beach revealed that he was not a fan. He didn't like the water coming up on him, and he didn't like the sand either. He'd stand in the sand for a few seconds, but then he was done. He wouldn't even sit on a blanket at first, he wnated to be on me. We finally got him to sit on the blanket and play with shells and buckets, but no sand.

Fishing trip

My Dad and I went deep sea fishing in Cocoa Beach. Was a good time, such an interesting experience to be out in the Atlantic Ocean on a 28 foot boat. We caught several fish, to include King Mackarel and Red Snapper. The King Mackarel were the only keepers though. We had some of the fish for lunch on Wednesday - delicious!
